Production worker

DESCRIPTION:

The day laborer works at different stations depending on the type of object. The tasks to be performed at the various positions are varied. This consists, among other things, of sorting materials, dismantling electronic devices, sorting elements and components. We offer you the possibility of working at different stations according to your preferences.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Set up at your workstation and perform the required work (different from one station to another)
• Cut wires, remove components, sort elements
• Lift and transport objects
• Saw objects
• Handle various hand and power tools
• Divide components for each electronic device and/or sort components
• Ensure an adequate pace, while keeping your workstation clean and safe

Requirements:

• Be versatile
• Teamwork skills
• Understand spoken French and/or English

Working conditions:

• Day shift from Monday to Friday, you must be available between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
• 40 hours per week, $15/hour (+ several bonuses offered)
• Possibility of overtime
• Salary scale according to seniority (unionized)
• 11 statutory and non-working days
