eCycle Solutions announces hiring of new President and CEO
June 21, 2010 – Airdrie, AB: eCycle Solutions is very pleased to announce the hiring of Jeff More as President and Chief Executive Officer.
eCycle Solutions has grown significantly since inception in 2005. In late 2009, Gary Powers, founder and outgoing President, recognized the need to begin searching for a seasoned CEO to steer the company through the next phase of expansion as it looked to expand its service offering and diversify its base of clients. Mr. Powers will remain with eCycle Solutions as a critical component of the executive team in the role of Vice President, Engineering and Technology.
“Much like a parent watching their child grow into a successful adult, I am very proud to hand the ‘eCycle reins’ over to Jeff as we welcome him to the team”, said Gary Powers, “I look forward to working with him as we take eCycle Solutions to the next level”.
After much hard work by the entire team at eCycle Solutions, the company today finds itself in the enviable market position as the only electronics recycler active across Canada in all existing stewardship programs. The company intends to leverage its coast-to-coast footprint into new and exciting services for national and international clients who require a full suite of asset disposition services - from secure electronics recycling to asset management and reverse logistics.
“I am very excited to join eCycle Solutions at this critical point in its history”, said Jeff More, “this company has firmly placed itself at the forefront of dealing with one of the pre-eminent waste challenges of our times and our team will take it many steps further”.
Mr. More earned an engineering degree and an MBA from McMaster University before embarking on a progression of management and senior executive positions in a number of industries, covering agriculture, refractory, aluminum extrusion, consulting, robotics, and telecommunications.
Mr. More will be based out of eCycle Solutions’ Mississauga office.
